Life Group Bible Studies

A number of small group Bible Studies called "Life Groups" are available at Olivet.

A Women’s Bible Breakfast is offered at 6:30am on Tuesdays and a Men’s Bible Breakfast at 6:30am on Fridays in the Youth Room. Each study focuses on the upcoming sermon topic with the women’s study facilitated by Pastoral Intern Luanne Sorenson and the men’s study by Pastor Dave. A prayer group follows each study for those who are interested in participating.

Wednesdays offer a number of Life Group Bible Studies. At 10am, Gerrie Brown facilitates a study in the Library that also focuses on the upcoming sermon topic. Wednesday evenings are family nights at Olivet. They begin with a meal from 5:45 to 6:30pm, followed by a main group presentation at 6:30pm and small group discussions from 7 to 8pm. The focus this Fall for Wednesday evenings is Alpha. What is Alpha? It’s a relaxed, safe place to ask questions and explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. It will answer such questions as: Who is Jesus? How can I resist evil? How does God guide us? How can I be sure of my faith?

The third Friday of the month a Senior Bible Study is facilitated by Leanne Hawkins at WarLeh Manor.
