Hi All,

Pastor Dave asked if I would introduce myself to the congregation as I have ventured into a new journey in my life. Many years ago I received a call from God to go into ministry. At that time many doors where not available for me to pursue my calling, however several months ago I was led to a program, Beyond the River Academy, which prepares ministers for rural churches. This seminary program is associated with the Lutheran Congregation for Missions in Christ (LCMC) of which our congregation is associated. The program consists of 2 years of coursework and then 2 years of internship as a pastor. Jan and I have been married for 36 years, we have three grown children and 5, plus one on the way, grandchildren. I am a teacher at Holmen High School, a member of the Civil Air Patrol, and in the winter I serve as a Mt. La Crosse Ski Patroller. As I walk with God down this new path I look forward to serving our congregation and realizing the calling that is present in my heart.
